Amanda J. Deon 34 of Norwood NY was arrested by New York State Police and turned over to Tribal Police on the strength of an active warrant from St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police for issuing a bad check on Friday, July 5. She was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and released on her own recognizance to appear on August 27.  

Edward Lazore, 39, of Akwesasne, PQ was arrested Friday, July 5 by St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and speeding. Police allege he failed standard field sobriety tests and allegedly submitted a blood alcohol content of 0.21 percent. Lazore is schedule to appear in Bombay Town Court on July 30.

Sierra Johnson-Sunday, 24, was arrested Thursday, July 4 by St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police on an unspecified outstanding warrant from Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department. Johnson-Sunday was transported to Massena and turned over to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department.

David P. Cappione, 52, Massena was arrested on Thursday, July 4 by St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. Police allege he failed the standardized field sobriety tests and allegedly submitted a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent. He is to answer to the charge in Bombay Town Court on August 8.

Richard Rafter, 27, of Brasher Falls was arrested Wednesday, July 3 by St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police and charged with trespass and harassment. He allegedly uttered threats towards a former co-worker. Rafter is to appear in Bombay Town Court to face the charges on July 16.

Natasha F. King, 38, Hogansburg was arrested on Wednesday, July 3 by St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police and charged with driving while intoxicated. Police say her vehicle was allegedly observed crossing the fog line several times. She allegedly failed the standard field sobriety tests and submitted an alleged blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent. She is to appear in Bombay Town Court for arraignment on July 30.

James Tracey Francis, 50, Hogansburg was arrested Tuesday, July 2 by St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after a complaint was made of erratic vehicle operation on Cook Road. He was also cited with having improper (switched) plates, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. He is to appear for arraignment on the charges in Bombay Town Court on July 30.

Ian C. Thomas, 26, Hogansburg was arrested Monday, July 1 by St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after police say his vehicle was observed driving on State Route 37 at 12:23 a.m. with no headlights on.  Thomas allegedly failed the standard field sobriety tests and submitted an alleged blood alcohol content of 0.25 percent. He is to face the charge in Bombay Town Court on July 23.

Stacey Stuart, 48, Moira was arrested Sunday, June 30 by St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police and charged with driving while intoxicated. Her vehicle was observed crossing both the center line and the fog line, according to police. Stuart allegedly failed the standard field sobriety tests and submitted an alleged blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent. She is to appear in Bombay Town Court on July 23 to be arraigned on the charge.

A 14-year-old juvenile male from Hogansburg was arrested Tuesday, July 8 by New York State Police and charged with third-degree tampering. He was issued an appearance ticket for a later date.
