INDICTMENT
Canton, NY – Katsitsia Smoke, 19, of Hogansburg, was indicted by a St. Lawrence County grand jury on one count of criminal possession of marijuana, a class C felony, after police allegedly found her in possession of 17 pounds of the drug Oct. 26 in the town of Morristown.
FELONY DWI
Massena, NY - Todd A. Connors, 46, of Akwesasne, was charged by Massena-based state police with felony counts of driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Also, refusing to take a breath test and use of a vehicle without the mandated interlock device stemming from a prior DWI conviction and additionally ticketed for traveling the wrong way on a one-way lane of Route 37 following a traffic stop at 9 p.m. Monday on state Route 37 in the town of Massena.
IMPARED OPERATION OVER 80
Cornwall, ON- Cody Back, 31 of Hogansburg, NY was arrested on March 23rd, 2013. It is alleged that prior to 2:30 am on March 23rd, 2013 he was operating a motor vehicle and attended the Cornwall Port of Entry while under the influence of alcohol. He was detained by Canadian Border Service Agency and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division. He was charged with Impaired Operation and transported for further tests, which resulted in an additional charge of Over .80. He was released to appear in court on April 2nd, 2013.
