Evelyn “Kookie” Delormier, age 43 of Akwesasne, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Dear daughter of Evelyn (Printup) Delormier. Loving companion of Leslie “Bam” Leaf. Dear mother of Delaney Delormier. Dear sister of Albert “Bae” Delormier Jr. (Noelle), Anthony (Tony) Delormier (Sasha) and chosen sister of Viola Thompson. Dear aunt of Aisha, Cheyenne, McKenzie and Warren. Predeceased by her father Albert Delormier Sr. (August 30, 1980) and by her step-father Angus Jocko (April 3, 2002). She will be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Resting at 1385 Island Road, Cornwall Island from 5 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Thursday, January 17, 2013 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Regis Parish Church, St. Regis at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
