Division: Environment Salary: $10.08 – 14.25/hr

Status: Full-time, Seasonal Deadline: Onerahtókha/April 27, 2012

Description of Position: Under supervision of the Forestry Technician and Forestry Foreman, perform manual labor necessary to remove trees and brush for forestry management activities. Laborers use a variety of hand and power tools to remove fallen and down tree debris. Work is conducted in extreme weather conditions and outdoors.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to lift heavy weights 60-lbs and greater to a vertical height of 3 or more feet. Candidate must have the ability to make minor adjustments to hand and power equipment. Must be at least 21 years of age, have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract in accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Fleet Policy.
