RAW VEGAN GRATED CHEEZE

 


Use a fine cheese grater and grate a Brazil Nut over your dish.

RAW VEGAN CHEEZE

1 to 4 Handfuls Organic Raw Almonds

Juice of 1/4th to 1 whole Organic Lemon

½ Red Sweet Bell Pepper

1 to 4 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast

Seasoning of your choice:  paprika, oregano, basil.

Soak almonds in water overnight.  Drain and rinse very well just before you are ready to make your raw vegan cheese.  The almonds will be puffed from soaking.  Place almonds, bell pepper, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, and seasonings in your food processor and blend until smooth.  If this is your first time, make sure you keep taste testing so it will be good for your own taste buds.  Process in your food processor until it turns to a smooth cheese consistency and you are happy with the taste.  I usually add very little dried herbs last and keep my cheese kind of bland because I don’t want it to be the main focus of this recipe.  If it is a main focus I add curry, turmeric root, and more nutritional yeast.  Nutritional Yeast gives this a very cheezy flavor.
