Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

As part of the Veterans Day celebrations this year the Indian Time Newspaper posted a list that was provided by the Tsi Snaihne Recreation Committee and combined it with other miscellaneous lists of all the known veterans in Akwesasne. That list is still under development as veterans and their loved ones contact our offices to add names to the list.

These veterans were left out of the past 2 lists of veterans posted in Indian Time during the month of November:

Doni Square

Mark S. Terrance – Navy – Persian Gulf Veteran

Raymond Terrance

Leslie M. Thompson

Please continue to contact the offices here at Indian Time to add your name or the name of a loved one, plus the branch of the military that they served in along with any wars that they have fought in if this information is known. Our Timekeepers here at Indian Time are working to preserve this vital information so that by next year we will have an accurate list of veterans to commemorate for Veterans Day.
