Native American Music Awards commences voting for NAMMY

Bear Fox and Corn Bred nominated to multiple categories

The Native American Music Awards has officially opened their website to votes from the listening audience to select winners for the prestigious NAMMY Awards. Voting will be available until the date of the awards ceremony, which is scheduled to occur on October 7, 2011 at the Seneca Niagara Hotel & Casino in Niagara Falls, NY.

Theresa ‘Bear’ Fox has been nominated into 3 categories: best folk (Rich Girl), song single (Rich Girl) and songwriter.

Corn Bred has been nominated into 5 categories: best blues (Rez-Bomb), best country (Rez-Bomb), best folk (Rez-Bomb), instrumental (Rez-Bomb) and best rock (Rez-Bomb).

Once on the NAMA website you can listen to recordings from each artist and vote right in the category. Don’t forget to vote for the 2011 Native American Music Awards at http://www.nativeamericanmusicawards.com
