The Girls Softball Team finished in 2nd place in the annual Stormont County tournament on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. The Results were:
AMS 11 vs. Viscount Alexander 11
AMS 17 vs. Rothwell-Osnabruck 10
AMS 10 vs. Central Public 7
AMS 13 vs. Eamer’s Corner 4
Championship Game: AMS 10 vs. Viscount Alexander 11
Team members were: Karakwakta Thompson, Malekka Oakes, Danica Thompson-Lane, Waverli Thompson, Savannah Carle, Hannah Cook-Jackson, Taylor Day, Montana Adams, Kayanna Cook-Jackson, Kaylee Lazore-Phillips, Brigitte Point-Bissonnette, Jaden Barnes-Sharrow and Ienonkwatsheriiostha. The coach was Mr. L. Scanlon.
The Boys Softball Tournament was held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009. The results were:
AMS 9 vs. Longue Sault 3
AMS 5 vs. Rothwell-Osnabruck 9
AMS 4 vs. Central Public 6
Team members were: Blake Buckshot, Ivan Benedict, Joel Jocko, Elden King, Mitchell Roundpoint, Trenton Tarbell, Aidan Lazore, Tommy Thomas, Jeremy Williams, Tritan Jock-Cole, Bryden Montour, Iekanoron Thompson and Zachary Williams. The coach was Ms. R. White.
