The St. Regis Rec teamed up with the friendly staff of the Akwesasne Child and Family Services to offer fun activities for the kids throughout the week.

On the first day the participants made crafts of blankets, dreamcatchers and box art. On Tuesday, they were taken to the Aquatic Centre in Cornwall for swimming, where they mingled with children from other schools also trying to pass the time during break.

On Wednesday the children were taken to the bowling alley in Malone for Cosmic Bowling. On Thursday, the participants were transported to the Nature Center in Massena.

The St. Regis Rec and ACFS planned free meals for the kids every day and handed them back to their parents and guardians every day full and tired.
