2nd graders report on owls

The second grade students in Mrs. Bero, Mrs. Lazare, and Mrs. Davey’s classes at the St. Regis Mohawk School read the December book of the month Owl Moon by Jane Yolen. The story is also included in our Houghton Mifflin reading series. Next, the students read several non-fiction owl stories and learned lots of facts. The classes also took a field trip to the Nature Center and saw real owls and learned even more! Read our great second grade reports about owls.

•Usually have a concluding sentence or section; and

•Use diagrams, charts or illustrations as appropriate to the text.
