St. Regis Recreation Halloween Party
More than 200 children and parents dressed up and attended the St. Regis Recreation’s annual Halloween party last Thursday.
Along with a traditional costume contest for all ages, the party also featured a pumpkin-carving contest, a Halloween treats bake-off and a prize for the best house decorated in St. Regis.
The St. Regis Recreation Committee organized the event and relied on other volunteers to help with the free meal that children and adults devoured like goblins.
Staff members from Akwesasne Child & Family Services played games with the children, gave out prizes, and gave a presentation on Halloween safety.
