EMT Randy Montour from Akwesasne Mohawk Ambulance attended the EMS special situations course taught by the State Preparedness Training Center (SPTC), operated by the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services. The EMS Special Situations course provides training for emergency medical services (EMS) personnel to respond to requests for service involving circumstances often not encountered, including multiple patients, physical hazards, and difficult operating environments, among others.
