SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direct supervision of the Director, Department of Health, the incumbent is responsible for managing the human, financial, physical, and information assets of the Community Health Program (CHP) within Agreements and Policies of Council.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or Bachelors in Nursing, or Business Administration;

• A Registered Health Care Professional in Ontario and Quebec or be eligible to apply;

• Five (5) years of management experience;

• Five (5) years experience in a community health setting;

• Five (5) years supervisory experience;

OR

• A Registered Health Professional in Ontario and Quebec or be eligible to apply;

• Seven (7) years management and supervisory experience and;

• Seven (7) years experience in a community health setting and;

• Specialty training in an area of public health setting i.e. Vaccine preventable disease, outbreak management, infectious control, diabetes management.
