Last week's horrific bus crash in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, which claimed the lives of 16 players and a trainer, sent the country in mourning. All across Canada memorials were held such as hockey sticks placed outside doors, NHL teams donned the Broncos jerseys in games and held various tributes and GoFundMe sites have raised millions.

Akwesasne Schools and organizations did their part with youth wearing their favorite hockey jerseys last Monday. Funerals for the fallen Saskatchewan players were held this week throughout the Humboldt community.

The Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club staff and club members rallied to show their support for the Broncos. Photo submitted by ABGC.
