The 2017-18 school year is at its halfway point and the students at AMS are still working hard to be the best.
Last Friday, January 19, the school held their monthly awards ceremony for the month of December. The theme of the month was Friendship and in addition to the students who most exemplified this trait awards were also given out for December's Science Fair held at the school.
They also had their attendance awards, reading and Athletes of the Month.
Every month, different businesses donate to the ceremony and Shoeless Joes in Cornwall pitched in with their first class seats. The students had purchased tickets and three from the Middle and Primary schools got to watch the ceremonies from the "First Class Section" chairs designated for those winners.
Congratulations to all the students for their hard work and their continued efforts for the remainder of the school year.
