Jenson White, grandson of Marsha White and great grandson of Barney Rourke, participated in the Dick's Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions in Wesley Chapel, Florida December 29-31st with the U10 Six Nations Warriors. The Warriors fought so hard and played with pride to come away as Silver medalists after an intense 6-5 championship final! Friendships were formed and the boys were praised by lots of rivals for their never-give-up style of play, which ultimately led them to the finals despite being the only team with no spare runners. Thanks so much to the coaches who gave Jenson this opportunity to play with the team. Jenson also plays with the Akwesasne Storm during the summer box season. Finally, a special thanks to those who sponsored Jenson on this journey including friends and family including grandma Marsha, and Tota Barney Rourke, and also the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1479. Niawen!
