Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

Nia wen to Indian Time and the personnel of Akwesasne Mohawk Ambulance for the wonderful spread in the paper for National EMS Week. I have so enjoyed reading it and just marvel at the wealth of training and experience our EMS providers have. This includes our Fire Department, too. We are so fortunate to have such valuable human resources and assets in our rural community, like no others.

I applaud each and every one of you and am extremely proud of you and the work and care that you provide for Akwesasne.

In reflection, when the NYS Department of Health Rep came here, he too was literally “blown out of the water” with the quality and capabilities available in our community.
