Tevin's left hook connects square on the jaw of Belcaris.

Tevin Terrance of Akwesasne had a decisive 2nd round knockout win over Andre 'The Finisher' Belcaris of Vermont Saturday evening in front of the hometown crowd at the Spirit FC-6 in the St. Lawrence Centre Mall Arena. Tevin surprised the more experienced Belcaris with his brute strength and determination. Tevin's skill set is geared towards boxing, and this appeared to set up the win, as early in the first round Tevin made some clear connections with combination punches and caught Belcaris a number of times, even putting him down mid-round.

The first round ended in a bit of ground and pound, and clearly set the stage for the second. Tevin caught Belcaris with a left hook just over a minute into the second round, followed up with a devastating right uppercut that put the lights out soon after for Belcaris.

Tevin trains as an amateur boxer with Champs East Side Boxing Club out of Cornwall and celebrated his win with his coach, Jorge St. Louis Sr., at ringside along with his family and friends.

Congratulations Tevin on a very impressive victory from all your family, friends and supporters.
