The Seaway Valley Rapids Minor Atom returned to action Friday, November 14, at home in a game presented by Twin Leaf against the Cumberland Grads. It was the teams' first meeting of the season and it was hotly contested. The Grads scored early in the first period, but Carey Terrance, Jr. evened the score on a breakaway. During the second period, the Grads went up again, but Jett Jock on an assist from Jacob Anderson, tied it up. Both teams were unable to capitalize on power plays with the Rapids failing despite six tries, and the Grads missing an opportunity on three tries.

The Rapids played again at home on Saturday against the Kanata Blazers in a game presented by Tapis Richard Ranger Carpet Inc. The game remained scoreless after the first period. The boys were able to shake off the tie and got rolling in the second period. Ethan Montroy opened the scoring on an assist from Rylan Adams. Carey Terrance, Jr. followed it up on a breakaway then scored a short-handed goal. In the third period with the score of 3-0, Montroy connected on a pass from Carson Martin. Not to be outdone, Jett Jock scored another short-handed goal on a pass from defenseman Antoine Lafrance. The last goal went to Marco McCarthy on an assist from Montroy for a final score of 6-0. Connor Fox earned the shutout between the pipes.
