Description of Position: Manage, maintain and enhance certain business support programs, services and events for the Akwesasne Business Community that have a focus on access to capital. Work directly with the Akwesasne Business Community to assist and support new and expanding businesses by identifying financing options available and work directly with financial institutions to find solutions to barriers for access to capital on Native American Territory. Identify existing funding available to assist the OED and SRMT and ensure that the goals and objectives of the OED are accomplished within prescribed timeframes and according to funding parameters by performing the following duties.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field with two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Subject to Background and Fleet Policy.

ELIGIBILITY LIST: A list of qualified candidates is created from interviews that may be used to appoint individuals to similar positions within the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe for a period of six months.
