On August 2, 2014 the Hogansburg Akwesasne Volunteer Fire Department held their 60th Anniversary at the former IGA grounds. They had a large variety of fire prevention and fire fighting vehicles on display. A group of six firemen gave an impressive demonstration of tearing apart a vehicle by using three large tools including jaws of life. All photos by Kaniethonkie.
