The Muskies' Jordan Thomas fires a shot past the Caughnawaga goalkeeper.

The Snake Island Muskies have a lockdown on first place in the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League with a 10-1 record. Meanwhile, the Akwesasne Outlawz trail in second place with a 10-4 record.

They boosted their winning streak to six straight on Friday, July 11. They claimed a 16-10 decision over the Caughnawaga Indians at Massena Arena.

The previous evening, the Akwesasne Outlawz won 12-7 over Caughnawaga at Kahnawake Sports Complex.

In other TNSLL action, the Indians beat the Tyendinaga Wolfpack 13-4 on Saturday, July 12 at Kahnawake.

Muskie Cody Kilcoyne dodges an Indian defender.
