Akwesasne Atoms on Winning Streak

The Akwesasne Minor Hockey Association, Atom C Team, are riding a three game winning streak as they go into the Christmas break starting with a 5-0 win on Thursday over North Franklin Hockey in an exhibition game. They continued that with a 3-0 win against Alexandria on Saturday, and a 5-1 win over Char-Lan on Sunday. The Akwesasne Atoms started off slow due to a late start to the hockey season, but have picked up the pace in the mid-season where balanced scoring and tough defense is seen from all team members. Akwesasne out-scored their opponents by 13 - 1. Assistant Coach Adams said, “The team is becoming more confident in their roles on offence and defense. They are a great bunch of kids.” The Akwesasne Atom C team members are:
