Akwesasne Community Fund
(Akwesasne Mohawk Territory — December 17, 2012) The Akwesasne Community Fund Review Team, on behalf of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne (MCA), is pleased to announce a new call out for applications for funding from the Akwesasne Community Fund. The Akwesasne Community Fund has been set up by the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne to provide financial support to community based, not-for-profit organizations and groups who are located and/or operate in the portion of Akwesasne coming under the jurisdiction of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne.
The Akwesasne Community Fund criteria, guidelines and application forms may be picked up at the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Administration 1 Building located at 12 Akwesasne Street in Kanatakon (St. Regis Village). The forms and information are also available on-line at the website of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne at www.akwesasne.ca.
Completed applications are to be delivered to the MCA’s Administration 1 Bldg. in Kanatakon (St. Regis Village).
Note: The deadline for receipt of applications will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1st, 2013 – No exceptions will be allowed, late submissions will not be accepted.
Please note that organizations who have received funding from past call outs of the Akwesasne Community Fund must have submitted a final report for that funding in order to be eligible for funding under this new call out.
