Position: Web Designer/Computer & Internet Technician

Status: Contract Basis

Reports to: General Manager

Salary: Based on Experience

The consultant will maintain the CKON website with posting updated information to the Community Calendar, Trading Post, and Job Watch, Horoscopes and Radio Bingo information and requests from the General Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. The consultant will provide website maintenance and updating assistance for the CKON Radio website for the Community Calendar, Job Watch, Trading Post, Horoscopes and CKON Radio bingo.

2. Additions or deletions. Any additional information relating to special events, sports broadcasts, radio shows or other promotions will be posted as requested. Expired posts will be deleted. Additions or deletions to CKON will be updated as requested.

3. Advertising. Banners will be uploaded to the website that is requested from CKON’s advertising clients.

4. Consultant will ensure proper approvals are obtained regarding copyrighted materials.

5. Consultant will track and provide an accounting of website traffic.

6. The consultant will provide technical assistance for issues occurring with the website as needed.

7. Consultant will provide any changes to modules or plug-ins as requested.

8. Backup will be provided on a regular basis and assistance with restoration functions will be provided as needed.

9. Consultant will perform other tasks as required.

Most of the above duties will be performed at the CKON radio station. However, consultant may perform service on-site, on the telephone/email and other such places designated by CKON.

Consultant must have three strong references included with application.

EDUCATION:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Web Development and Information Systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have two (2) years of work experience with two (2) years of Windows Web Server Administration. Samples of previous work would be considered a plus.

• Prefer demonstrated experience in installation, administration, support and management of any active Windows server environment that comprises of active directory, application, file and print servers.
