Vegetable Grower Twilight Meeting

 


Cornell Cooperative Extension of St Lawrence County is hosting a grower meeting on Wednesday, July 29 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Extension Learning Farm Rte 68 in Canton, NY. Growers are invited to join the discussion of on-going vegetable production projects including fertility and soil health management in high tunnels, late blight update, post-harvest garlic management, enterprise budgets to determine which crops are profitable, emerging pests such as leek moth and spotted wing drosophila, and more. Guest speakers include Amy Ivy and Crystal Stewart of the Eastern NY Commercial Horticulture Program and Judson Reid of the Cornell Vegetable Program.

Free and open to the public, includes light refreshments. Registration is appreciated by July 27 for planning purposes.
