Kanatakon School Social

Visitors from Japan posed with the singers.

On Friday October 17th, a school wide social took place and included all the grade levels of the Skahwatsi:ra Program students, staff and parents. It marked a special day as all the participants wore purple ribbons in observance for October being Child Abuse Awareness Month. It was a huge gathering and also welcomed three women from Japan who had visited last year as well. When the social ended, everyone was treated to a delicious traditional meal.

Ranonkwatsheron:ni Laffin sits patiently as he waits for the social to begin.
