Raiders Dominate Golden Bears on the Football Field

After trading touchdowns to open their Friday, Oct. 3 match against the Canton Golden Bears, the Massena Red Raiders scored 26 uninterrupted points and won 34-12. The teams met on Friday, Oct. 3 at Massena's Mike Nichols Field.

Raider Isaiah Dillabough drove in the first touchdown after 3:15 of play.

After trading possessions, the Bears finished a drive with Cole Zeller taking a pass from inside the 10-yard line with 9:09 into the game.

Less than 90 seconds into the second quarter, Massena's Josh Manley received a 12 yard pass and posted Massena's second TD of the game. Jayce Lanning nailed the PAT kick.

Four minutes into the third stanza, Dillabough carried the ball in, capping off a 58-yard drive.

Jason Zembeck and Dillabough connected for fourth quarter touchdowns.

Canton's Louden Porter posted the final points of the contest, taking 15-yard touchdown pass into the endzone with 3:41 on the clock.


Dillabough had 18 carried for 150 yards. Zembeck rushed for 117 yards on 14 carries. Merry garnered 76 yards, completing four of eight pass attempts. Manley grabbed three receptions for 54 yards.
