(AKWESASNE, NY, April 28, 2014) – Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort (AMCR) is proud to announce its North Country Concert Series, presented by Wild Country 96.5FM. The series will feature six artists performing at the Resort throughout the summer beginning in June. The performing artists feature an array of country music favorites including the multiple CMA award nominee Darryl Worley, “Kiss This” singer Aaron Tippin, platinum recording artist Sammy Kershaw, ten-time male vocalist of the year nominee Collin Raye, Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year winner Phil Vassar, and CMA Female Vocalist of the Year winner Pam Tillis.

Darryl Worley kicks off the series with his performance on Thursday, June 5th, Aaron Tippin follows on Thursday, June 18th, Sammy Kershaw on Thursday, July 24th, Collin Raye on Thursday, August 7th, Phil Vassar on Thursday, August 28th, and lastly Pam Tillis will close the series with her performance on Thursday, September 18th. Each headlining artist of the North Country Concert Series will feature performance times at 7PM and 9PM. Ticket sales go live to the public on May 1st, 2014 at 10:00am. AMCR has been planning the North Country Concert Series for months. “This is something that we have wanted to do for a long time,” said Patrick Bassney, AMCR General Manager. The Resort has been hosting various musical and comedy entertainment acts since the banquet center opened last spring. “We’re very excited to become an entertainment venue in the North Country, and with this line up we are expecting a sell out for each show,” added Patrick Bassney.
