Cooking Up Fun With Families

Kids having fun at the last Cooking Up Fun With Families Session.

It’s that time again, Cooking Up Fun With Families is gearing up to hold a winter series. Classes will start on November 6th at 5 PM. As before, the classes will be held every Tuesday and the classes will be spread over 7 weeks. Each class will deal with a nutritional or food safety issue like knife safety or healthy meal planning. As before, classes will be held in the same location, the Saint Regis Mohawk Health Services Lounge. According to Kim Lauzon McElwain, “children ages 7-12 are welcome with a parent or guardian.” In order to attend the class, you must pre-register with Deylin Jacobs and she can be reached at 518-358-3141 ext. 133. The classes are sponsored as a joint effort between the Saint Regis Mohawk Nutrition Program and Eat Smart NY. Hope to see you there!
