CORNWALL AUTOMOBILE BREAK-INS

CORNWALL – Cornwall Police officials say there has been a rash of automobile break-ins in various public and private parking lots around the city in recent days. They are urging business owners, employees, customers and the general public to make sure that no valuable items are left in plain view — such as GPS, cell phones, laptops and other similar items — and that your vehicle is securely locked or other appropriate precautions are taken to protect private property. Cornwall Police are also asking for anyone who might have seen anything suspicious or knows anything about the thefts to contact their office at 613-932-2110.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Massena, NY - Mitchell R. Nanticoke, 25, of Snye, Que., was charged by Massena-based state police with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following an incident at 7:34 p.m. Thursday at the U.S. port of entry in Rooseveltown. He was released after posting $500 bail.


BREAK & ENTER

Cornwall, ON - The Cornwall Community Police Service are currently investigating a Break & Enter that occurred on September 25th, 2012 at a Northdale Drive residence. The suspect(s) gained entry and removed a jewelry boxes and 8GB USB. BREAK & ENTER

Cornwall, ON - The Cornwall Community Police Service are currently investigating a Break & Enter that occurred on September 24th, 2012 at a Walton Avenue residence. The suspect(s) gained entry by a window and removed a Playstation 3, video games and DVDs.
